Berhane:
Freezing takes tracks thatyou have recorded with soft synths and records the 
soft synth as an audio track so that the soft synth is no longer taking up 
system resources.  However, if yu  want to make any changes, you need to 
unfreeze it.  With a new multi core computer, i don't freeze stuff any more 
unless I need to give somebody all the separate audio tracks.
