The ADK machines use the Microsoft Wireless Keyboard.

On this keyboard, the function keys can be switched between the normal
functions, and a separate mode where they act as the special multimedia keys
that are found on some other Windows keyboards.

Its very simple to switch them between these two modes. On the top row of the
keyboard, the same row where the function keys are located, there is a single
button on the far right end that is spaced apart from the other keys. Each time
you press that button, it switches the function keys back and forth between the
two modes. Press that button, and you should be back to normal mode for the
function keys.

Some Logitech keyboards have a Function key disable facility...
It's usually located just to the left of the row of F keys, or, like on my own
DAW keyboard just above the F4 & F5 keys in a row on its own.

Hello Friends, Has anyone ever experienced their function keys not
working. First noticed it in Sonar but turns out they aren't working in any
other program either. Am using the wireless keyboard that I got when purchased
workstation through Dancing Dots. Have a feeling something must be turned off
but don't know where that option might be and sure don't remember doing any
adjustments to the keyboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave
