Hi Chris, ok I understand what E-Q bands are and that the sonitus equalizer has 6 bands that control different frequencys. I know with an E-Q you can cut or boost certain frequencies, and I know a filter is used only to cut out certain frequencies below a given point but it does it gradually depending on the slope selected. But what I am confused about is that each band in the sonitus plug in seems to have a filter type associated with it. For example the first band has a filter type of shelving low, and the others have filter types of peak/dip and shelving high.
