hello, john i hav had this problem with my motu 828. dont know the answer for it. i allways use the master buss to change the out put level. i think you are better off doing things that way. i hav three ways of controlling the out put level. 1 the motu, 2 the nobs on my speekers, which i allways keep at 6 or higher, or three the master buss. some times i record people i dont want to here varry much, at that time i use the master buss. and whin i mix i put her back at 0.

Hi: I am recording in Sonar with the caketalking scripts, using the delta 66
soundcard. While recording, or monitoring, if I go into the control pannel
of the delta 66 in the monitor/mixer page and change master volume updown
slider, there's no change that I hear. Likewise, when I change the master
volume mixer inputs up down sliders they have no effect on volume. Any
