Yes, I think that's how it works.  You could set the MIDI volume to 127 then, 
go to the tracks with the softsynthes in question. Then when focussed over the 
softsynthe tracks that you wish to make into instrument tracks, route your jaws 
to PC cursor then, right click with your Jaws mouse and choose "make Instrument 
Track" from the menu.  You will still have a standard audio volume on the track 
after you have done this that goes to plus 6DB.

      I have dimension already. Do I have to uninstall it before installing
