Did you assign them to the correct port (either the midi port that the
roland is connected to, or the USB port driver that the roland uses?
Did you check the save changes for future projects box?

Hello,
I'm using a motif es and a roland xv88 with sonar. I just imported the
roland's instrument definition files into sonar and took all the proper
steps, (assigning output destinations,) etc. However, when I go to a track
and select the roland as the output, none of the banks and patches show up
for me to select them in the track properties page. Any thoughts?
