could be.  you can do that in the global options menu [alt and the letter O, 
followed by the letter G] for global options.  Then, control tab to the .VST 
plug-ins tab.  Then, tab over to the "scan .VST folders" button and press it.

  Look for True Pianos in the softsynthe menu.  That's assuming you have done a 
.VST scan after installing Sonar 8.

included in the version.

     

    I don't see it in the softsynths menu.
