Don't have jaws running here at the moment, but there is a way from the
main jaws window to set the default audio output that jaws will use. By
default it uses the microsoft sound mapper. I cannot tell you which
output device to choose because I do not know the specifics of the
computer being used, but trial and error will get you there.
Another approach is to go into the sound control panel app and set the
appropriate device to be the default device, but sometimes windows
(especially windows 10) changes this device if it feels like it. I
struggled with this problem and finally deferred to the first method to
get my screen reader (NVDA) to reliably use the onboard audio device
rather than the external monitor.
Hope this helps.

Hey List, please bear with me because I am asking on behalf of someone else--
An associate of mine has jaws coming out of his studio monitors instead of coming from the computer speakers. What could he possibly check, tweak, change or adjust to get the jaws to come soley from the computer speakers? I don't know his hardware setup so I am hoping that there may be something in the jaws menu to check, or something as simple as that.
Thanks.
