When you're importing a file in to a matrix cell, and you're in the open file
dialog, you can press the play button (short is alt+p), to preview the
currently highlighted sample/loop. If you have a control surface, reach over
and hit the play button. With your track playing, samples that you preview will
automatically sync to the project tempo, so you can hear how they'd fit in to
your project before loading them on to a Matrix cell.

I really want to learn to get the best out of that thing, I know about it, and
kind of how it works, but how does one do things like preview loops or samples
before loading them in to the slots?

Cyclone use to do this, but now i think the matrix view can do the same
thing.

hi all. I'm experimenting with some loops and have a question. Is there
a way in sonar by wich i can trigger different loops with different keys on my
controler? So if i have 10 wave files i wish to use as loops can i trigger them
from my controler?
        kind regards
