[ddots-l] mails remaining on server.

Hi,
I have 22 emails from this list dating from 10 March to 25 March
that won't automatically delete from the server when I send them
to the out-box.
The few that I have had today and most of the others that I have
received from this list have gone since 10 March.
I have not had this problem with emails from any other list or
ones that I have received from individuals.
I wonder why this is happening? and is it possible to delete
these emails from the server?
