Sounds good! Also, jus in case, make sure that the midi files don't have
strange non-standard characters, if they do and the arranger's file system
doesn't recognize them, it'll send them to the bottom of the list, or might
not show or play them at all.

Hi DjX,

Thank you very much.
It took me some time to understand the Roland EXR 5S flash memory midi
files order., now I get it!
Strange enough, the midi arranger was crashing when choosing 2 specific midi
files. They were corrupt, so the flash memory became unlogic in files order.

Solution. changed those 2 corrupt midi files. Done! all good now!

And, it's false alarme. In did the file system of the keyboard reads the
files in numbered order, reorganize the files as it's suppose to be,
folowing the logic. I must restart the midi arranger though.

Hi, the file system of the keyboard probably reads the files in the order
they are in memory, doesn't reorganize them at all. In this case how you
place them doesn't matter, since the keyboard will read them in the order
they are in memory.
Try this, place each file on the card one at a time, in the order you'd
like, does that work better?

Hi guys,

This is one of those days that I really must admired the blind piano
players patience!
My midi arranger is a Roland EXR 5S, as a guitar player it's more than
enough for me for sure!

No problem importing 13 midi songs to the Roland song folder by USB,
something so basic right?
Well, because of blindness i cant read the display, so i named the refer
midis like 001 name, 002 name 003 name, etc... waiting that the keyboard
will display acordingly! But no good!
Dont know what is goin on but it seems that all songs are displayed without
any logic at all.
Shouldnt the Flash memory display all midi imported songs like they appear
on a computer?
Any of you know the Roland Flash memory logic?
1,2,3,4,etc.. no good.
01,02,03,04,etc... no good.
001,002,003,004,etc... no good.
a,b,c,d,e,etc... no good.

regards,
Rui Vilarinho
