Well I'm behind on my mail and might be coming in late here, but what steps did
you do when installing the instrument definition? Did you actually select the
port and channels in the instrument definitions dialog and then select the
motif es8 from the list? If so, you should se 27 banks of patches.

I have the motif 8 es, and I am trying to get sonar to tell me what patch
names I am using when I use it with the sequencer. I have installed the
instrument definition program but I can only get the gm patches. If any one can
help I will be a happy man. I thank you very much.
