[ddots-l] motif and sonar tracks

Hello,
If I'm using a Motif with Sonar, and if I assign the midi channel of a
particular track within sonar, will the channel change in the motif as well?
For example, if I assign track 1 of sonar to midi channel 2, will this also
apply to the motif if I were to play the sequence through it? So, if I load a
song as a midi file into the motif, and I had changed the midi channel of a
track in sonar, will that information load and apply to the same track in the
motif?
