Good call David. This just might be the case. Even though I haven't seen the
reqs for k12, will have to take a look.
But driver wise, the mk2 keys work fine under 7?
Thanks, DJX

Hi There,
Maybe Sweetwater are saying the MK2 models only work on Windows 10 if you are
using their latest version (which is 12) of their Komplete Kontrol software? I
have the Komplete Kontrol 61 keyboard MK2 and I am working the Komplete Kontrol
version 11 select software in Windos 7! I haven't gone to Windows 10 yet. The
Native Access installation program is inaccessible to the point you probably
need sighted help unless you like experimenting etc.
But once installed, it works great for me. :).

I have been told categorically that the MK2 models only work on Windows 10.

If that is so, I would sure like to know about it. Sweetwater's site states
that the MK2 requires Windows 10.

What's the story on that? Does anyone know for sure? I've heard that you can
actually use mk2 on 7...

That is great. I am looking at the sweetwater.com site, but they do not have
the MK1 controllers. They now have the MK2 controllers. Did you get your
controller new or used? The MK2 controllers require Windows 10 as best as I
know.
Thanks,
Grant

Yes I am getting voice feedback for adjusting parameters and browsing presets.
Also, a sample of each preset plays as I scroll through them. And, even though
there is no access to user presets in complete control, sonar saves preset
changes on the instrument track.

That is good to hear. So, you are getting voice feedback when you
touch and change settings on the keyboard controller?

Hello Grant,
I've been using the S88 mark 1 keyboard and Komplete 12
ultimate collector's edition software on Sonar 8.5 in Windows 7 for a
few months. It is working very well, though I still have much more to
learn. One thing I can speak about is the need to freeze recorded
instrument tracks to keep from over taxing resources. I was also
pleased to find that included audio plug ins will work, though
parameters do not appear in the inspector. Some of the defaults are
interesting and usable. Guitar rig has numerous presets that sound
great even though the parameters also do not seem to be accessible.
I'm sure the more experienced listers here can speak more to this topic.

Hello,
Is anyone out there using the native instrument complete control
keyboard and software with Sonar 8.5 and Windows 7? Any issues to report?
Thanks,
Grant
