Floyd, First of all I have nothing recorded because I am starting out to
record. I hear the microphone through the speakers when Sonar is running.
When I press A and then r to record an audio track there is no metronome. IT
says record but when I play it back I hear nothing. I am running Windows 7,
Sonar I believe it is 8.5 producer. I connect using a Yamaha Steinberg control
surface.
When I record on an audio track, when I press A , it says "sorry this track
failed to arm" When I do the suggestions enable is not accessable.
When I press alt+shift+r I get track properties. Interesting enough arm is
available there but says the same thing when I enter on it.
IT would be nice if there was good tech support with this program. Tech
support stops at the cashbox. Deric

don't know what your configuration is...
So first, not much info here but, do you have sound from Sonar with something
already recorded by pressing play?
You must have some older recordings correct?
Second, when you are trying to record, is Sonar getting a signal?
press f2 during recording attempt.
Third, press alt shift r on the track you are trying to record on.
It'll tell you if there's anything there.
fourth, if there's data after trying 3, clear solo and mutes with pressing s
and m three times each.

what I forgot, it had been 4 months. Anyway, I am trying to record an audio
track.
I press A to arm, press R to record, (no metronome no recording. The
mic is giving feedback but there is nothing on the audio track. Am I
