Two questions. Do you select the track that has been mixed down before going to
the emport dialog? Also how do you activate the mp3 encoder? Does it cost? How
would i go about using it once it is activatee?

Hi.

You need to export the mix as audio.

So, select all tracks from start to end and press alt f, then e for export.

Select audio and use the resulting dialog box to choose your mix down
settings.

Unless you've activated the mp3 encoder, you'll need to export as wav and
convert to mp3 later on.

Cheers
Darren

This may sound like a dumb question, but I am new at all of this so here it
is... Here's what I want to do. A friend of mine wants me to record them
some songs of me playing piano. I was reading in the caketalking tutorial
about mixing down. It looks like though when a track is mixed down to a
stereo or mono track, it gets added to the bottom of the track list. How
would I then take the mixed down track and make that an mp3 so that I can
then e-mail it to my friend? Thanks,
