Hello,
I am using the ivory VST Plugin within sonar. I would really like someone to
answer this who uses ivory if at all possible to maybe help me go about doing
this... I am trying to make my keyboard play like a piano so I will be able to
use the full-extent of ivory... So basically I want to be able to optomize the
response of ivory to work with my keyboard, but I really need help with doing
this. I know that there are things to adjust such as dynamic range, tamber,
and gain. I know that I will need to work with these to produce the best sound
for my likeing. Then I know that I need to edit the velocity settings where I
will be able to edit the hardness, the minimumand maximum velocity, and the arc
type. I understand from what I am told that doing all these edits will change
the feel of my keyboard and the way Ivory responds to my playing. I just need
help doing all of these settings. I use two keyboards. My gigging keyboard is
a yamaha s90ES and my studio keyboard is the motif ES8. Another question would
be for both of my keyboards and the presets that I use in ivory, will I have to
set these settings twice? One for one keyboard and another set of settings for
the other keyboard for each preset that I use, or how does this work? I just
really need help setting all of this because I am new at all of this, but I
know that this needs to be done because the response of my keyboards are not
quite right yet for the best results when using them with ivory. I know that
they can be adjusted within the synth rack view in sonar in the ivory plugin,
but how to do it and what to do I am not sure. I hope this all makes sense and
I am sorry if I am not making myself clear. Thank you,
