You could try the Cakewalk FX delay.  Add it to a bus then, add a send to the 
track.  You will be able to control it easily that way.  Plus, you should fine 
a nice stereo delay in there which, you can easily modify.

      I am looking to put a delay on a vocal tract, but I want it to simply 
spread the vocal around the stereo field, any particular ones in sonar I should 
look into, please? I have reverb on the tract, now I just need that effect to 
make the vocal more apparent around the mix.
