Is all good now.
There's a merge utility so that you can port the settings of 8.0 into 8.5,
including any additional plugs you have that don't come with sonar.

Are you talking about the plugs that came with sonar 8? Those will be
available in sonar 8.5. All of the sonar plugs are in a shared folder
which is available to all versions of sonar.\

Hi all.
I've just upgraded to Sonar 8.5 from 8.0 and was wondering about the
plugins that I have on 8.0.
Do I need to copy the DLL files across from 8 to 8.5, or should I just
run the VST install function from Global Options and Select the 8.0 vst
plugin folder.
Just looking for the most time efficient method really.
