You might look for CC11 but it's unlikely to have been used. Your other
option, and this is clumsy by comparison, is to select all tracks and go
into the event list view and press v to open the event manager. Uncheck the
notes checkbox which is the first option. This will expose all the other
parameter events such as CC7. then delete these one at a time making sure
that you don't remove anything except CC7s. Again, this is clumsy and I
don't recommend it. However, if you are not having success using the other
dialogs, this does work. When you've removed all the CC7s, press v and
recheck the notes checkbox. Close the event manager. Close the event view
and play back your file. See if your fadeout is gone.

Subject: [ddots-l] removing fade out

I know that this has been discussed, but I am having trouble removing a fade
out on a midi file with sonar. I have used the "select some dialog" to
segregate the controller 7 events. Here is what happens... after I choose
the controller 7 events and press enter, I am returned to a parameter
setting that I am not certain of. The lesson on this subject says that you
can select controller 7 events, press enter, then press the mid section
delete button. This does nothing to remove a fade out on my project. Yes!
all my tracks are selected from beginning to end. Is there another volume
control that I might look for?

Thanks,
grant
