Thanks Dave and Darren,

I never thought to look there, I was selecting the midi track from start to 
end, then pressing Alt F and then E for export, as I thought I'd be exporting a 
midi file?
I'll never understand the logic of computers ha ha.

  Use "Save As" and then in the file type selection use Midi 1 or Midi 0, then 
as usual give it a file name and a location.

    Hi all,

    I can't seem to find where you'd save a midi file? Thought it would be in 
the dialog box with audio export and the likes.
    When I press import I hear midi as an option in that dialog box.

    Please help me as I'm totally confused again and don't like this feeling lol
