Hi Ivan,

Snapshots are primarily used to capture your automation settings, and they record everything to do with that in the entire project.

Hope this helps clarify it for you.

Howdy list,

I have some follow up questions on snapshots.

At what point during the project is it important to do a snapshot or
snapshots?

Can you take a single snapshot of the entire project? Or must you do
snapshots one track at a time? One section at a time?

If I understand correctly, a snapshot is some kind of archived
representation of a track along with its different parameters (e.g.
volume, velocity, FX, etc.

Every time I do some progress in learning Sonar I notice I have to learn
more.

--I am not complaining; I like the fact we can do lots with CT and
Sonar.

Cheers!

Ivan
