Lode a new project and then tab to the list of templates. Arrow down or up
to the one of your choosing. You will also want to name the project normal.
Then press enter. After the project lodes jaws should say normal CWP. Now do
a save as by holding down ault and pressing F tab once and you should find a
list where you can save as CWP CWB templates and so on. Once you choose
template make sure its being saved in the same folder where all your
templates are saved. I'm not talking about the same kind of templates that
you saved so you can get to your favorite ivory patches. This is a different
folder and I can't remember what its called.

I believe the answer to your question is in the tutorial.

Subject: [ddots-l] template

Hello,

When I installed Sonar, I accidentally picked the template that has 16 midi
tracks and 4 audio tracks, but I would like the one that is 2 audio tracks
and 2 midi track. I think it's listed as the normal template. I have sonar
producer 8.5. Is there a way to change which template loads up for my
default template to make it the 2 midi track and 2 audio track one? Thanks,

Brian
