you have to go to option menu, and tab to drivers page, and check all the input
and output that you want to use.
hit OK and you will find it in your track properties.

I would like to thank all the overwhelming support I received from the list.
A special thanks to James of California who aided me via the phone tonight.
One problem we seemed to run in to is that, Sonar is not recognizing my
inputs. When in the drivers prompt in the Audio Options menu, I selected the
MAudio selections and specified them as my inputs and outputs. It shows this
there, but not in the input context menu on the track pane. It continues to
show nothing but the following messages: Presets unavailable, and manage preset
button, and no MAudio business whatsoever. James and I worked on it for a
while, and could not figure out why his machine recognized what my computer
seems to not. Please help anyone!
