Acid WAV files don't always follow project pitch when they're imported. Once 
you import the file, select the clip, open the loop construction view, and 
enable follow key. Then, that clip will actually pay attention to your key 
markers. If it still doesn't, then, in loop construction view, manually set the 
key of the original loop, and it should now transpose correctly.

Tried that...  I set the key before importing and its still importing in the 
key of C.

I tried setting the key after I imported as well, but no dice.
