As far as I know my keyboard is still okay. When you talk about the midi
ports being set to none are you talking about in Sonar? If so then my midi
ports are set correctly as far as I know.

I have a CP 88 by Kerswel. Please forgive my spelling don't remember how its
spelt. It only has one port a out and a in.
I am not sure what I could have done to change anything I just loaded a
instrument on Wednesday and it worked, but when I tried to load one on
Thursday it didn't work. Thanks for the input please keep it coming.

May the peace of God which passes all understanding guard your heart and
mind in Christ Jesus. God bless you!

Nevile, Check and make sure that your midi instruments are still ok, then
make sure that the midi in for the ports haven't been set to none. What
keyboard are you using? Does it have multiple outs? Are the outs set
correctly? When did this start to happen, do you remember what triggered it
or what you were last doing when it still worked?

Hi Neville,

a few questions, sorry if some are obvious.
Is Jaws saying "instrument not found" or is it you just have no sound?
I have no sound.
Have you a second midi keyboard you could try?
No
Are previous projects playing when you load them?
Yes but when I play my keyboard even in previous projects the soft synths
still will not play.
Is your sound card powered?
Yes I use the FW1884
Are all plug sockets and jacks plugged in securely?
As far as I know
Monitor switched on?
yes
Monitor levels up?
yes
Is the level up on your controller keyboard? they maybe set to CC7 so
turning the internal softsynths down, I'll have to make sure about that, but
I think so

mind in Christ Jesus. God bless you!
