Yes it works. I recorded a track using a pandero from Brazil. Since I am not
an expert pandero player, the pandero was not quite on time in some parts. So,
I selected the track, then hit shift-a. You get a menu. Tab to the button to
enable audio snap, then tab to the quantize button. I selected eighth notes
and then close the window. It fixed all the rithmic problems. Remember that
audio snap is not a distructive effect, so, if you do not like how it sounds,
you can at any time go back to the menu by pressing shift-a and disable it.
The effect is only applied to the track distructively at the time of bouncing.
