Don,

This is easily fixed. You're doing everything correctly except for one thing. When you get to the Replace part of the dialog, type Control+Left-Bracket followed by sk1. Then move your cursor by pressing the End key, type another Control+Left-bracket and enter hds. You were getting that message because you were attempting to enter two separate codes inside of one pair of brackets.

Hello,

I am working in version 10.4 with a .dxp file which contains
several [sk1] codes. I wish to use search and replace to locate
all such occurrences and replace each [sk1] code with the same
code followed immediately by an [hds code. I understand and
accept that the problem is operator error; however, I keep
getting a message indicating something to the affect that codes
are being improperly terminated. In trying to accomplish this
change, I have:

1. Turned on the codes with alt f3.

2. Pressed f6 to bring up the search and replace dialogue.

3. Typed control left bracket in the search box followed by sk1
followed by right bracket

4. I then tab to the replace edit box and type control left
bracket followed by sk1][hds]

5. I tab to the okay button and hit space bar which is when I
get the error message.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide the correct syntax
which will solve this problem.

Cordially,

Don Roberts
