The 2-inch combs have little slots at either end of the flat surface for securing them. More rarely, they also have a similar slot in the center. The only ones I've seen with the center slot come from Viking Office Supply (www.vikingop.com), but that slot offers some extra support for braille documents. Even so, I don't like to put more than 100 pages into a binder.
