In Word, I usually go change the Zoom settings "view menu" to 75%; usually 
works.

I have had the same problem in Word.  Anyone know how to fix that?

My best guesses:
It may be that your window isn't maximized, or that your font is too
large. Try what Caryn suggested and also try going into Global Menu
and down to fonts. If you are not a print reader, you can make it as
small as you like. I have mine set to 8.
