This message may be of interest to anyone who is either teaching
braille or learning braille.

"Graduated Tables" was previously located way down at the end of the
list of languages in "Document: Translation Tables". It contained two
BANA braille courses and latterly one BAUK course.

The purpose is to allow additional braille material to be produced at
whatever level the student has reached when following a course.

In 11.1 this feature has been moved into the Document menu, and is now
called "Learning Tables".

Depending on what main braille Template you begin a document with,
Learning Tables will display courses appropriate for that language.

Consequently if you start with "English (American) - Standard Literary
Format" you will see:

NLS I.M.B.T.
TSVBI Clusters

If you have started with a British (English) Template you will see:

Braille in Easy Steps
Fingerprint
Take off Series

And starting with a Unified English Braille Template (UEB) you will
see:

RNZFB STAR (from New Zealand)
S.A. Syllabus Level (from South Africa)

Additionally the menu shows Grade 1 at the top and Grade 2 at the
bottom.

Within each course, you will see it is broken down into sections,
books or units, which follow the course material.

It is hoped that the inclusion of these tables will greatly assist in
teaching and learning braille following a recognised course, where the
provision of additional material at the level a student has reached,
will help a student become more fluent and confident in reading
braille.

If anyone has any specific question on this subject, please feel free
to ask here.
