This is a difficult question to answer for somebody else. Each screen reader has its passionate fans and its vitriolic detractors. You might try going to www.afb.org and look in the archives of their on-line magazine, Accessworld; seems to me that at some time in the past year or so they did a comparison of JAWS and Window-Eyes. For the most part, you will find when you ask around that people favor the one they learned first (smile), their native screen reader tongue, you might say. Each has its strong points. Have never tried using Window-Eyes with Duxbury; maybe someone else here has. I do not yet use a screen reader but plan to get one. This may be a difficult one to answer but which is better overall, JAWS or Win Eyes? I dont want to spend lots of time playing with both. Just want to get one and learn it.
