many thanks indeed for bringing this to my attention.
The "Emboss Topic" feature is sadly one of these things that
many asked for, and yet I believe you are almost the first
person to comment on it since 10.5 was released.
Consequently, I have to hold my hands up and say that as a
result, it has had very little attention since.
However, I am reviewing the Help files for the next release,
and so will be looking much closer at the formatting side in
relation to braille output.
The strange text you are seeing is unfortunately some HTML
content brought about by a portion of non-standard HTML
code, over which we have little or no control. That said, I
will review the topic, especially since it is sure to crop
up in other topics.

Subject: [duxuser] Embossing Help Topics
Hi everyone. I wonder if anyone else has run into
this problem. I'm embossing some of the help topics in DBT
10.5 to use for a class I'm doing on the program. I've
noticed a couple of things. First, the help topics aren't
really formatted. The title is centered, but other than
that it's pretty much just straight reading. Is there any
chance of fixing that up in a later version?
Also, something that just happened to me today. I
embossed the topic "Fine Tuning Templates". The first half
of the first page is really strange. It says, in part:
SPAN.HCP1 left-brace FONT-WEIGHT: bold right-brace
P.hcp2 left-brace TEXT-align: center right-brace ...
What is this, and does anyone know how it got
embossed? It sounds like codes that should have actually
been used in the formatting. Thanks for any comments or
suggestions.
