An issue which does come to mind from the depth of my grey matter, was to avoid
copying the very last hard return of a Word document. Allegedly, and I would
not argue with my informant here, this hard return includes all manner of word
related document information.

George.

I viewed the codes. I'm not familiar with the codes. The only code that is
showing a code for single or double spacing?

After you paste in to DBT, can you see if any codes have been added and what
they are? (View: Codes, or Alt F3)

George.

I'm actually copying and pasting information from word into Duxbury. Then
embossing the documents. After I click translate, periodically I will get the
error message.

Thanks,

Kristina

Is it possible that you are modifying any Styles in a document while using one
of DBT's default Templates?

If this is the case, then I suspect it is because the default templates usually
cannot be modifie3d and saved.

The solution is to open a new document using whatever Template is closest to
your needs, then from DBT's Document menu, select "Create Template". Give it a
suitable name, and save it.

You should now be able to use and modify your own Template.

Subject: [duxuser] Error Message

Hello,

I keep getting the following error message when I'm in Duxbury. It says: Unable
to write document styles.
It will come up every once in awhile. Does anybody know what this means?
Thanks,
Kristina
