Hi Ben, I have looked at the .brf file of the new BAUK produced "British Braille" and unfortunately it is essentially fixed at 28 x 40. This is designed for 12" deep paper, most popular in the U.K. There is a Table of Contents in it, and obviously this would need to be regenerated. However is would indeed seem logical to produce an 11 inch deep version for the benefit of overseas users who follow BAUK standards. If the file was originated in DBT, then it should not be a major exercise to reformat it for 25 lines, and re-generate the Table of Contents. Although I have copied Stephen Phippen, Secretary of BAUK, you may wish to contact him direct with your request at Stephen.Phippen@xxxxxxxxxxx George. ________________________________ From: duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ben Ong Sent: 30 May 2005 09:13 To: duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [duxuser] File Conversion Hi, Has anyone ever converted a BRF file, 28 lines by 40 cells, to match a paper length of 25 lines only? I have tried back-translating; however, as the original file has running headers turned on, I have them all over the pages, between text. The files I am referring to is the new BAUK Braille Manuals!
