Eileen,

What you are experiencing is a result of a new feature in JFW 9.0. Look in the
help menu for JAWS under "what's new". You can learn there how to paste from a
webpage without retaining formatting.

Subject: [duxuser] Formating In Word, How Do I Get Rid of It?

Hi All:

This may be a little off topic, but still think someone on this list may
know what the solution is.

In the last 2 days, I've attempted to copy, and paste text from 3 different
web sites into a Word Document (something I've been doing for years without
any difficulty). Now I find in looking over the text I pasted into Word, it
appears to maintain all the formatting from the web page, such as table
layouts, etc. It makes proof reading impossible. I've tried clearing all
formatting from under the styles menu, but can't get rid of it. I want to
eventually print this stuff out in Braille, but first want to make sure it
is formatted correctly. I recently upgraded to JFW V9, and am not sure
what is causing the problem.

has any one else encountered this and if so do you know how to clear it all
out?

Oh yeah, am using DBT 10.6.

Thanks for any/all input.

Eileen
