Hi George: I fixed it. Here's what I did. I revealed the codes and
found the [tle].[?] (don't remember what the second code was but it had
to do with my using the centering command). I did a global replace and
didn't put anything in the replace with field. Amazing, my centered
text moved up one line but stayed centered and the dots 4,6 were gone. I
am running an index bastard (oops) d which I hate with every ounce of my
being. I'm getting a replacement, Juliet Pro 60.

Hi Ann,

What embosser are you going out to?

Can you send me both the Word and imported dxp file, as well as the dxb
file?

George.

I am working on a ms-word document and when the file is translated, at
the top of every page where a new section starts, there is what appears
to be either dots 4,6 or dots 1,3. I can't get rid of it and global
replace doesn't find it. I looked at the codes but there is only the
hds and hde codes around the heading.
