Susie,

The [wb-cb] code goes at the beginning of the web address. The code does not insert a continuation symbol. It merely changes the word breaking rules so that if the Web address needs to go to a new line, the continuation symbol will be inserted. If you look at my instructions for modifying the Comp-Inline style, you'll see that the [wb-cb] code immediately precedes the Web address.

Steve, does that wb-cb code take effect at the point where you insert
it, or should it go at the beginning of the Web address? I am working on
a document with several long URL's, and in one case it put only the
computer Braille begin symbol on one line, then went to the next line
for the rest of it. How to avoid this?

Caroline,

I solved this problem by modifying the Comp-Inline style to include word

breaking codes as follows:

Beginning codes: [wb-cb][cbi]
Ending codes: [txi][wb]

The [wb-cb] code tells DBT to put a continuation symbol at the end of
the
line if necessary, and the [wb] code causes normal word breaking to
resume. If you modify the style, you won't have to make any other
changes
to your document. The modified style will only apply to the document
you're working on unless you preserve it by creating a new template.
Let
me know if you need help modifying the style, or if you have any other
questions.
