Hi Kathleen,

What I am suggesting here will work. (But if anyone is
keeping these messages, please don't do this after 10.4)

dbtw.exe is the application's program file. You can run it
from the folder it's in. You can also add a shortcut to
your Desk Top by right clicking in a blank area of the
screen. From the menu that comes up, select New, then
select Shortcut. In the dialog/path box type
c:\duxbury\dbtw.exe.

However, don't count on your settings remaining as previous,
since most are contained in a Windows file called
duxbury.ini, and if that file is missing, you again may have
problems.

If all else fails, simply re-install on top of what you
have. Provided you install to the same folder, you probably
won't even need the licence diskette.

I'd better explain my earlier comment. DBT 10.5 will be the
first version to make a serious move into the Registry to
retain settings, etc.. This is simply following Window's
practices and conventions, so is nothing spectacular.

George Bell.

Hello Duxbury,

I found Duxbury on my computer, and it's on my c drive as a
file folder. Within that folder are 282 files, five of
which are application files.

Can I run Duxbury from this folder?
Which of the five application files do I select to run
Duxbury?
Which of these five exe files should I move onto the desktop
to run Duxbury?
Or, should I just delete this entire file folder and start
over?
