Hi Steve. That's an excellent suggestion, and we'll include it in the changes we're making. In most other applications, pressing this key twice says the character phonetically, and pressing the key three times causes JAWS to speak the numeric value of the character. Would it be possible to have the script work as described above in a DBT print document, and perform its present function when in a braille document? Alternately, would it be possible to implement the speaking of the numeric character value by pressing another key? I find this function especially useful in dealing with characters for which there is no keyboard equivalent, such as bullets, etc. As always, I appreciate all the work you've done to make DBT a great product.
