Hello Jean.

Inside DBT press Alt+P to toggle the 6-key echo on or off. If the 6-key
echo is turned off, JAWS honors your own setting for keyboard echo.

All the best,
Caryn

Subject: [duxuser] Jaws and six-key entry

I'm wondering if there is a way to silence Jaws when typing in a braille
file using six-key entry. I have Jaws set to not speak characters or words,
but it does anyway when typing braille.

Jean
