Monte,

The "Treat as Interpoint" checkbox is only one half of the answer to your problem. It controls the way DBTW handles the final page of the file. You also have to turn interpoint embossing off on the Juliet. To do that, perform these steps:

1. Take the embosser off line by pressing the off-line button until you hear that the printer is off line.
2. Go into the menu you're using. For example, to enter Menu 1, press 0.1E.
3. Turn Interpoint Mode off by entering 33.1E.
4. Exit the menu by entering 1.1E.

To turn Interpoint Mode back on, perform the above steps, but in step 3, enter 33.0E. Also, remember to check "Treat as Interpoint."

This problem is fixed in version 10.5 because DBTW actually turns Interpoint Mode on and off by sending escape sequences to the Juliet.

Today I installed a Juliet Pro embosser to an aged pentium running
Windows 98se and Duxbury 10.3. I chose thiis embosser under the global
menu, set line length, lines per page etc., and unchecked the box/button
that said "treat as interpoint embosser"
I am still getting braille on both sides of the page though that feature
is unchecked in the diaglog box.
Any suggestions appreciated.
No, I haven't been lurking, juist subscribed to the list as I am sure it
is a great resource for the occassional question I may have.
Thanks,
Monte.
