The Bartimaeus website is designed to provide quality digitized and braille
study tools for the serious blind Bible student. There are New Testament
Greek, as well as, Hebrew language grammatical books and links. There are a
number of commentaries and books, including the Systematic Theology written
by Lewis Sperry Chafer. One can find several braille formatted hymnals and a
link to the internet cyberhymnal where thousands of hymns can be found.Links
to other relevant sites for the blind are listed along with links to a
variety of online e-books and study aids. Also posted there are recorded
messages from the 2007 Bartimaeus Bible Conference and info about the
upcoming 2008 Conference. The home page links give a pretty good general
idea of what is there. Of course, those blind people who wish to take
advantage of the copyright restricted materials will need to register and
provide some evidence of eligibility like NLS membership, et cetera.
Additionally, there are a goodly number of public domain materials for all
visitors who stop by the site.
