Karina, some embossers don't allow for more characters per line--for instance, some Juliets do and some don't. If you've got one that doesn't, you're sort of stuck. The assumption is that Braille paper is 11 by 11-1/2, at least in this country. The blank at the bottom of the page should be adjustable by changing the "lines per page" setting in Duxbury's embosser set-up. You could also change the "top of form" measurement on your embosser to move things down the page a little bit. Again, depending on the embosser, there maybe several ways to accomplish what you want to do. Without knowing more I can't give specific instructions, just vague ideas (smile) Susie Susie Stageberg Project ASSIST with Windows Iowa Department for the Blind (515) 281-1351 stageberg.susan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Karina Gregory Sent: Thursday, August 04, 2005 11:22 AM To: duxuser Subject: [duxuser] Margins Dear all, Please can someone tell me how to reduce the margins to the sides of the paper, I am using 12 inch by 12 inch paper and at the moment it is set to 40 cells per line, but personally I think a few more could fit on and would like to increase it. Similarly, I have noticed a large margin is being left at the bottom of each page where continuous text is being pushed over onto the next page. There is no footer at the bottom of the page but once I did insert a document that had a footer, but since then it has left a big gap even where there is no footer. Please can you advise me on how I can change the margins so that it is consistent throughout each document? Thank you in anticipation for your help. Karina
