Hi Ray,

We got some from a UK store called "Maplin" who are similar
(and may even be owned by) Radioshack or Comp USA, etc..
which worked with the Blazer. They cost us around $30 of
your green folding stuff. Unfortunately we've none left but
they are all pretty much the same in terms of plugging in
and self installing with XP.

The trick is establishing how and what port they set
themselves up, and then installing a Generic/Text Only
printer to that port. Some may add a virtual LPT port,
perhaps LPT2 or 3. Others will set up a virtual USB Printer
Device.

George.

Subject: [duxuser] Parallel to USB Converters That Work with
Braille Blazer

Hello All:

I have a client that is having problems with the parallel
port on his computer. I think he has a bad port.

He has an older Braille Blazer he wants to use. Does anyone
know of parallel to USB converters that work with the
Blazer?

Thanks,
