Hello all,

I've got a pretty long MS Word document, which will come at about 150 pages in braille. I'd like to emboss this on both sides, using DBT 10.7 and Tiger Cub Jr. In the past, I've done double-sided embossing on single sheets. This has worked reasonably well, except that the braille dots on odd pages were somewhat flattened during the second pass. However, 150 pages is a bit too much for manual paper feeding, so I'd like to try tractor-fed paper instead. Has anybody got any experience doing it that way? If so, could you please share some tips?

1. I am going to start by loading the paper and having DBT send odd pages. After the embossing is complete, how do I turn and insert the paperstack to get the even pages aligned correctly with their odd counterparts?

2. Is there anything I can do to reduce the dot-flattening effect on the second pass? On another note: can you recommend any budget embossers that would allow double-sided printing of a better quality?

3. Are there any caviats to watch out for in what I am trying to do?

Thank you for any assistance you may provide!

Oleg
