Good evening,

I am new to this list.

I am writing on behalf of United Disability empowerment in Kenya [UDEK], who
recently procured a copy of Duxbury Braille translation software for use
with the Versa Point Duo, and are having a problem using it with Braille
paper of a different size.
The size in question, is 11 inches across and has a height of 12 inches.
They say that the Embosser, does well with the regular paper which is 12
inches across, and 11 inches from top to bottom. This problem using the
11x12 paper started after several successful printing using this same paper,
and on switching the machines on one morning, found that no formatting
adjustments were taking effect as had been the case previously.
the top margin keeps moving up, implying it is no longer being recognised,
and while the first page looks fine, the second page I.e. at the back of the
first starts printing early, including on the perforated margin on the left,
while leaving a large area on the right margin, and on the third page, the
top margin keeps moving upwards, so that the first two lines of page three
are printed on page one. they have tried to make adjustments to accommodate
the dimensional requirements of this paper, to no avail. They therefore
requested that I find out on their behalf what adjustments they need to make
so that the embosser can work properly on this paper.
We hope you will be able to assist in this matter and shall immediately
communicate your response to enable them use this paper.

thanks and best regards

Alfred
