I've tried the copy as text in Adobe - sometimes it works, sometimes it
doesn't. Worth a try tho!

I have the same difficulty. When I open an Adobe doc, sometimes I can
do a Control A, then a Control C, open Microsoft Office Word, then paste
into Word.

The other day I opened the window that said something like 'open an
Adobe document in Word' - so I clicked on it. It's $19.99! I highly
doubt our district will pay that. Hahaha!

I am going to ask my hubby for an idea - he's a computer guru.

It will tickle him to hear that the problem got solved by a user-group!

Good Luck!

Subject: [duxuser] Question...

This is only my second year as a Braillist and I have a question. A lot
of the digital copies of books I get from teachers to Braille for kids
are in "Adobe" format, and I cannot just copy and paste. I was
wondering how I can put this into Word or Duxbury to translate? Is
there a way to do this? I feel kind of stupid for asking this question,
but I was curious if I am missing something. Should I contact Adobe?

Thank you,

Taryn
