The Romeo has a 4 row, 4 column, 16-key keypad.
Here are the key locations:
7 8 9 OL
4 5 6 LF
1 2 3 FF
0 . E V
To reset the embosser:
Press the "OL" key (row 1, column 4)
Press the "0" key (row 4, column 1)
Press the "point" key (row 4, column 2)
Press the "0" key (row 4, column 1)
Press the "E" (row 4, column 3)
Press the "9" key (row 1, column 3)
Press the "5" key (row 2 , column 2)
Press the "E" (row 4, column 3)
Press the "9" key (row 1, column 3)
Press the "6" key (row 2 , column 3)
Press the "E" (row 4, column 3)
Press the "9" key (row 1, column 3)
Press the "8" key (row 1 , column 2)
Press the "E" (row 4, column 3)
Press the "9" key (row 1, column 3)
Press the "9" key (row 1 , column 3)
Press the "E" (row 4, column 3)
Press the "1" key (row 1, column 3)
Press the "E" (row 4, column 3)
Here is a summary:
OL GO OFF-LINE to COMMAND ENTRY MODE
95E Load defaults into NOV-RAM
96E Zero the NOV-RAM checksum
98E Calculate new checksum
99E Verify the NOV-RAM checksum
1E Reset System and GO ON-LINE

Hi Everyone,
Can someone please tell me how I go about resetting my Romeo Braile 40 (RB40)
Braille Embosser? I don't have the manual and I want to reset this embosser to
its defaults to see if it'll fix a little problem I'm having. If giving
instructions for the key pad, please could you explain where on the keypad each
key you mention can be located?
