Hi Ardell,

Headers and Footers are a "Layout" matter, so you will find
the dialogs for them located there.

The one important thing to remember, is to place your cursor
where you want the Headers or Footers to start. If for the
whole document, that is usually at the very beginning.

Once you have landed on the Header or Footer menu item, you
can press F1 and you will get what is called "Context
Sensitive Help" appear. Even if you have up the appropriate
dialog, you can press F1.

Do however explore DBT's Help system. Alt + h, then h
again. It's standard HTML type Help system as found in
screen readers and many, many applications.

George.

Subject: [duxuser] Running head

I'm using DBT 10.6 which is new to me. I don't have any
instructions for it. My problem is that I'm starting a new
document and cannot get the running head to show. The page
numbering is OK. Thanks for any help. Ardell Nolte
